The co-operative coordinates supply chain engagement from farm to consumer for members and works closely with R. Adams & Sons and R.A. Farming, based near Henley in Arden, Warwickshire.
Working with consumers and growers of combinable crops, a new central grain store is being established offering groundbreaking levels of service (movement within 48 hours) and low carbon grain drying, transport and storage solutions. This will enable farmers and the wider food chain achieve real reductions in their scope 2 & 3 carbon emissions, promoting and driving sustainable agricultural, storage and energy saving practices.
Zero Emission eTrucks : R. Adams & Sons are working closely with MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd to demonstrate to the whole industry the progress and opportunities in a more sustainable food supply chain, from farm to consumer.
The farmer board of Liveridge Hill Farmers, led by Chairman Thomas Maynard & Vice Chairman Rupert Inkpen are working with industry experts to ensure local growers have the level of support they need for a sustainable and efficient arable farming operation.
