R.Adams started as a husband and wife team in 1955, where Ralph and Anne ran the family business from their home in the Small Heath area of Birmingham.

It later moved to Hockley Heath in 1968 where the company grew to 10 lorrys by 1985.

Ralph Adams retired in 1992, leaving the company in capable hands of Mark and Andrew.

With the company in capable hands, it grew further, and in 1998 it was moved to its present location in Henly-In-Arden, where it now has 18 vehicles.

In 2001 a workshop was built for repairs, servicing and general maintience of the fleet. Introducing, M&A Commercials LTD.

M&A commercials was originally setup to look after the Adams fleet, but then opened its doors to commercial repairs and servicing to other sectors.
